PARTY on a PADDLE BOARD (for a good cause!)

Image

Well, it’s official. This is our first big event and we are excited. We are swimming north for the weekend to be a part of Stand Up for the Cure. It is a day-long Stand Up Paddle (SUP) event to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer. The event is at Newport Dunes on May 5th and runs from 9am to 4pm. If you’re not signed up for the race, no worries! Come visit and take out one of our NEW Paddle Board Bliss boards that will be debuted at the event!

We are super honored to be leading the YOGA CLINIC from 12:30 to 1:30. We will have yoga by land and sea. BOGA YOGA will also be stoking us out by providing some demo boards for the clinic. Thanks, BOGA!  If that wasn’t enough we will have all of our new Paddle Board Bliss gear on hand, sweatshirts, t’s and more! Chad from Third Eye Threads will also have a booth with all of his yoga inspired wares. Last but obviously not least, Lululemon Athletica will be representing with some yoga mats and encouragement for those wishing to get their yoga by land and not sea! Bottom line, come say hi and join in the fun!!

See you tomorrow!! It’s an event not to be missed!

  1. The event was a blast! They even broke the world record for the largest SUP lesson with over 400 participants. Definitely something to participate in next year.

Such a great cause, I am going to spread the word for it and see if there are any similar groups in my area, thanks for getting the word out there for this!
