Paddle Board Bliss was founded in the summer of 2010 by Taylor Chaput. After paddle boarding with her mom a couple years ago, she fell in love with the sport and wanted to share her passion. Taylor started giving lessons and providing rentals out of Fisherman’s Cove and little did she know, it was the best location for paddling in Laguna Beach, arguable the best in Southern California. The first tour turned out to be a huge success with sightings of California Sea Lions and encounters with dolphins as they swam right up to us on the boards. Truly incredible!
We want to create an unforgettable experience each and every time. This is accomplished by catering lessons and rentals to each person’s particular skill level and stamina. We also make sure to provide a briefing on the area of the cool things to see and explore. Get out there, the ocean is waiting.

TAYLOR CHAPUT Owner
Taylor graduated from Santa Clara University with an accounting degree. As a ploy to avoid the accounting field, she decided to start a paddle boarding business. After all, the beach was nestled in her backyard and the location turned out to be ideal with spectacular views and abundant wildlife.
She loves paddle boarding and wants to spread the sport to the masses through education as well as expanding her operations to other locations. Partnering with SUP Cleanup, she is also working to help clean up the ocean and preserve its wildlife. She enjoys snowboarding, golf, yoga, reading, cooking, and traveling. Recently, she discovered the sport of street SUP in which you use a stick for momentum as you’re skating. This is now her latest obsession.
